Uptown Charlotte

Uptown CharlotteCharlotte is a major banking headquarters and Uptown Charlotte is home to many banks and other financial companies. In the past several years, high end condominium and single family house have developed in this area resulting in many more individuals residing in Uptown. Along with the business atmosphere Uptown has much to offer in entertainment, shops, restaurants, bars, and nightlife . Residents in Uptown enjoy the convenience of walking to work and entertainment.

Myers Park, Dilworth, Southend, Elizabeth, Eastover, Chantily, Plaza Midwood, & Noda

Myers ParkThese neighborhoods are very poplar and just minutes to Uptown Charlotte. Charlotte first expanded south and east of Uptown so most of these neighborhoods are very historic with old architecture and southern charm. There are many trendy shops and restaurants within these neighborhoods.

Southpark area

South ParkSouthpark is home to one of Charlotte many high end malls and shops, along with many businesses. There are many older brick ranch style homes along with many new mansion size homes and some in between.

Ballantyne, South Charlotte, Matthews, Pineville

BallantyneThere are many popular suburban subdivisions in these areas. Most of these subdivisions are very convenient to shops, restaurants, golf, and many other amenities. This area is also home to many businesses but if you still work in Uptown Charlotte it is a very reasonable commute, especially with the convenient new Lynx light rail system.

Lake Norman area (Huntersville, Cornelius, Davidson, Mooresville, and Denver)

Lake NormanThe Lake Norman area has exploded in the last 20 years. Lake Norman is a huge lake surrounded by many nice small towns that are still very reasonable commute into Uptown Charlotte. There are many popular suburban subdivisions in the Lake Norman area. Along with the lake there are many shops, restaurants, golf courses, and many other amenities.

University Area

UniversityThis area is home to UNCC which is continually growing along with many new subdivisions and shopping centers. It also includes many businesses and is also a short commute to Uptown Charlotte.

Charlotte is a growing city and development has been pushing out into popular areas a little further out including; Union County, Cabarrus County, and Gaston County. The growth and development has also spread into the South Carolina areas of Fort Mill, Tega Cay, and Indian Land.
